Eagle Quantum Premier. Certified Fire and Gas System
The Eagle Quantum Premier® (EQP) Fire and Gas Safety System is approved to FM 3010 in accordance with NFPA 72®: National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, 2013 Edition. The EQP is also certified SIL 2 capable and qualified for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).

EAGLE QUANTUM PREMIER® CERTIFIED FIRE & GAS SAFETY SYSTEM
An effective fire and gas safety system is an integrated set of inputs and outputs that meets life safety requirements and can be used for process monitoring. The EQP fire and gas safety system fulfills this definition and is listed and certified for both fire & gas control and release.
The EQP provides the following for hazardous and non-hazardous locations:
- Flame and gas detection
- Alarm signaling
- Fault notification
- Extinguishing agent release control
- Flexibility to connect to both Det-Tronics and third-party devices
- Supports flame, gas, smoke and heat detectors in a certified system configuration
- Capable of supporting redundant fault-tolerant communication loop, as well as point-to-point designs
- Provides continuous real-time safety system status and diagnostics allowing operators to know system health plus operational and maintenance requirements
- Easily integrated with PCS, DCS, SCADA and PLCs via multiple communication protocols
- Available in a pre-engineered listed system with enclosures rated for ordinary and hazardous locations
Robust and reliable, the EQP safety system uses a distributed topology suitable for applications that require a hazardous location rated protection system.
Certified to be installed in Class I, Div 2/Zone 2 hazardous locations.
Flame Detection
Designed and manufactured certified solutions (such as SIL 2/FM/CSA/ATEX/IECEx) for hazardous industrial fire and safety environments for over four decades. Det-Tronics optical flame detectors combine sophisticated algorithms with detection technologies such as ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), UVIR, dual IR and multispectrum IR, to boost detection while minimizing false alarms. During this time, Det-tronics flame detectors' field-proven mechanical designs have protected customers' sites for over 10 and, in some cases, up to 25 years.
